Assessments

Comprehensive psychological learning assessments from early years to university, identifying strengths, learning difficulties, for example, dyslexia and dyscalculia, and providing evidence-based recommendations and three and four month follow-up.

Note there is a one off service charge on all assessments; £105 as outlined in the booking terms and conditions*

We do not do online assessments, only face to face with one of our team. When the journey time is over 40 mins from Marlborough there is a £50 surcharge, and a further £50 when over one hour. If the journey is over 1 and a half hours please contact Caro directly rather than do an online booking.

The assessment process: step by step.

Option 1:

Cognitive abilities, including memory, reasoning skills, processing speeds, motivation and views from the pupil, teachers and family, including dyslexia. £800 + service charge 

Option 2:

Cognitive abilities, including memory, reasoning skills, processing speeds, motivation and views from the pupil, teachers and family, including maths (dyscalculia). £850 + service charge 

Option 3:

Cognitive abilities, including memory, reasoning skills, processing speeds, motivation and views from the pupil, teachers and family, including literacy and maths. This option for EHCP. £1400 + service charge 

Option 4:

Assessment for Appeal or Tribunal: £1,550 + service charge 

Option 5:

S14 assessment for disability sports or adult learning disability assessment £800 + service charge

The assessment would ideally take place at school, from 9am, taking all morning. The psychologist will need a quiet working space to work with your child. If the chosen date does not work for school, please still submit your form and contact your psychologist, who will offer another date from their availability.
On occasion, a home assessment is appropriate; please contact the psychologist following your booking confirmation email if you want to discuss this option.
