This option is appropriate when you as parent want to discuss concerns you may have about your child/young person and to help with immediate understanding and/or strategies or to signpost you to the most appropriate next step.
If the child/young person is willing, the session can also be with the child/younger person. The session can also be with a school staff member discussing the child/young person anonymously. It is mostly considered as a one-off session with a review, but a few sessions can be helpful in order to work on ongoing concerns.

Please read the following information carefully:
The written record of the consultation will be stored on Cliniko, for 5 years, which is secure and meets GDPR standards (for the purpose of reference, in the case of a request for future consultation, input or on request by parent/guardian for a copy if their copy has been lost).
During the time of the consultation process, information may also be stored on the working laptops which are all password protected.

Artificial Intelligence:
At times, CSGA uses GDPR compliant AI tools, mostly to help us process information, not to interpret or to generate hypothesis and ideas e.g. recording the consultation to support the production of the written record. AI tools that CSGA uses for processing information, only process what it has been given, rather than referring beyond e.g. the www. All AI processing is checked personally before it might be used in reports/written records.
Some AI tools are used for exploring information but references to the information given is then checked for validity.
